University Clinical Research, Inc. (UCR), is a privately-owned, multi-specialty, clinical research center offering service to the pharmaceutical, nutritional, and medical device industries.  Established in 1984, UCR is recognized within the pharmaceutical industry as a leader in providing rapid, quality data in phases I, II, III, and IV.   

UCR is conveniently located 7 miles from the Ft. Lauderdale airport and 20 miles from the Miami International Airport in sunny Pembroke Pines, Florida.  There is much for the monitors to do in the area.

• IVRS Experience (i.e., ClinPhone, RAMOS, Quintiles, ClinTrak, UBC, ICON)
• Weekly SOP training
• Certified smoking cessation counselors
• Certified staff for shipment of hazardous materials
• Experienced with paper and electronic diaries
• Experienced with skin ratings and lesion counts (dermatology studies), A1C and OGTTs (diabetic studies), ABPMs/OMRONs (hypertension studies), DSM4 criteria (insomnia studies), post-void residual testing/uroflows/bladder ultrasounds (OAB studies), ESRs/xrays (OA studies), DEXAs/Xrays/gyn procedures (Osteoporosis studies), urine analysis/microscopic cultures/gram stains (UTI studies), endometrial biopsies/pap smears/ultrasounds (Women’s Health studies), and more…  
• Experienced with ECGs
• Experienced with questionnaires for many therapeutic areas (i.e., QOL, WOMAC, pain scales, food/lifestyle, and many more…)
• Trained on diet and lifestyle counseling
• CPR and ALS trained and certified
